Certified Neonatal PICC Inserter (CNPI)
PICC Excellence, Inc. is proud to offer our Certified Neonatal PICC Inserter (CNPI) Program. The Certified Neonatal PICC Inserter (CNPI) credential is achieved by providing demonstrable proof of knowledge, skills, and experience for defined areas within the scope of practice for the clinician performing neonatal peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) insertions. Earning the CNPI certification serves as validation of the clinician’s ability to perform insertions with a high level of knowledge of infection prevention principles, best practice techniques, and management skills for neonatal patients. The CNPI does not verify competency, this will be established by the employer/preceptor.
