Hospital Evaluations
PICC Excellence offers a hospital evaluation service to review policies and procedures, observe practices, and evaluate clinical activities for the application of standard recommendations and guidelines. A clinician is sent as a subject matter expert to observe, assess, and evaluate your current practices based on guidelines, standards, and evidence-based practices and provide specific recommendations to reduce the risk of vascular access-related infections and complications. An extensive written report is provided following the 3-5 day on-site evaluation. Hospital evaluations may include customization for point prevalence studies, compliance for dressings and standard practices with peripheral and central venous catheter care and maintenance. All hospital evaluations are designed to provide specific recommendations to reduce the risk of vascular access-related infections and complications. Consultation is also available to hospitals on product review to improve safety, promote positive patient outcomes with vascular access, and develop cost saving practices.
